At this time, New Heights Counseling therapists work with a few insurance companies, which are listed below. There are insurance companies that may reimburse our clients a portion of what they pay out of pocket for counseling services. Check with your insurance before booking an appointment.

Rates For Counseling

Average Weekly Session

Our therapists charge between $50-$200 a weekly session depending on licensure, experience, type of therapy they offer, etc.

Court Evaluation - $400

Please note: Before you begin your therapy, one of our team members will talk to you about specific rates charged by the therapist you are scheduling with. You will also be sent several forms via email, along with a “Good Faith Estimate” that will include the rates for various services offered by your therapist. You will need to complete the forms, sign them, and send them back to New Heights Counseling. Please contact us for more detailed information about fees.

Insurance For Counseling

Accepted Insurance: BCBS, Aetna, UHC, VA,

Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.

We’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it, and have I met it yet?
Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

Payment For Counseling

We accept cash, checks, Health Savings Account cards, and all major credit cards as forms of payment. Checks can be made payable to New Heights Counseling. Payment is expected at the time of service. We NOW accept CareCredit! For more information, contact us or visit CareCredit.com

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. The full rate of the session will be charged if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice. All no-show appointments will be charged the full rate of the session.

We understand that life happens, and there are times when you simply cannot make an appointment. However, when a session is canceled with little to no notice, we are unable to fill this time slot by offering it to another client.
